As part of practice-oriented learning and professional engagement with industry specialists, the Department of "Accounting and Audit" hosted an employer meeting for students of the "Statistics" educational programme.
The event was conducted by Dinara Sadvakasova, Head of the Environmental Statistics Division of the Department of Production and Environmental Statistics of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She shared with students her practical experience in the field of state statistics, modern methods of processing environmental and production data, and the requirements for young specialists seeking employment in state statistical bodies.
The meeting was attended by students of academic groups B-St-23/1k, B-St-24/1k, and B-St-24/1R, who demonstrated active interest in issues of professional development, the digitalisation of statistics, and career opportunities within the national statistics system.

The meeting constituted an important element of preparing students for real-world professional activity, contributed to strengthening the ties between the university and employers, and underscored the relevance of a practice-oriented approach to education. As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached regarding further cooperation in the context of internship placements and potential employment opportunities for students.
