Esil University hosted the opening of the week of the Tourism educational programme, organised by the Department of Social Work and Tourism in honour of World Tourism Day.
The opening remarks were delivered by the First Vice-Rector — Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Serik Bikhanovich Makush. He noted that the series of events would serve as a platform for the exchange of experience, the development of professional competencies, and the creative advancement of students.
Also addressing the audience was the Head of the Department, Zhasulan Amangeldinovich Sadykov, who emphasised the importance of training highly qualified specialists for one of the most dynamically developing sectors of modern society.
The week's programme includes seminars on contemporary teaching methodologies and research in the field of tourism, excursions, creative competitions, team contests, guest lectures by domestic and international experts, a psychological training session, and open classes. The week will conclude with a festive concert and a summary of results.
This week is an excellent opportunity for students to develop, demonstrate initiative, broaden their horizons, and contribute to the future of tourism," noted the Department of Social Work and Tourism.
