As part of the educational work plan, first-year group "IS25/1R" curators Musakanova G.E. and Beysenova A.Zh., together with psychologist Makenova T.E., conducted a workshop-training for first-year students on the topic: "Where Does Romance End and Stalking Begin?"
The purpose of the event was to raise students' awareness of the issue of stalking, teach them to recognize its signs, and develop skills for safe behaviour.
During the seminar, the principal manifestations of stalking as obsessive pursuit that violates personal boundaries and causes psychological discomfort were examined. Indicators of stalking include: persistent messages and calls following a refusal; surveillance, including via social media; disregard for personal boundaries; threats and psychological pressure.
Students were informed of where they can seek assistance in such situations.
