Curator Bekzhanova T.K. . and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Aitkhozina L.Zh. conducted a seminar in group B-St-25/1, dedicated to current environmental issues and their solutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the event, student Zhandos Tanyrbaev delivered a substantive presentation accompanied by a video. In his presentation, he highlighted key contemporary environmental challenges, including atmospheric air pollution in major cities, waste disposal problems, and the consequences of climate change. Particular attention was paid to the need to foster an ecological culture and to raise the level of societal responsibility for the preservation of the natural environment.
During the seminar, participants actively discussed the presented materials, exchanged views, and proposed their own ideas for improving the environmental situation in the country. Aitkhojina L.Zh. emphasised the significance of such events, noting: "Environmental awareness must be cultivated in students today, as it is precisely the youth who play a key role in the sustainable development of the country. Such meetings not only enhance awareness but also foster an active civic stance." Conducting seminars on socially significant topics contributes to the development of analytical thinking, a sense of responsibility, and interest in addressing the pressing challenges of contemporary society among students.
