In commemoration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, the Astana Department of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan organised a seminar on the topic "The Concept of Language Policy in Kazakhstan."
The seminar was conducted by Birzhan Anuarbekuly Zhakypbekov, Candidate of Philological Sciences and university lecturer. Participants discussed the key provisions of the Concept for the Development of Language Policy for 2023–2029, approved by Resolution No. 914 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 16 October 2023, as well as current issues relating to the formation and development of the linguistic environment in the country.
