An international scientific and practical conference entitled "Youth and Science of the 21st Century: Realities and Prospects" was held at the university, bringing together students, faculty, and young researchers.
Within Section No. 6, "Development Trends in the Experience Economy," reports were presented addressing contemporary directions in the development of tourism and the hospitality industry. Participants discussed issues of industry digitalisation, the introduction of Big Data and AR/VR technologies, the development of various forms of tourism, and the enhancement of safety and improvement of Kazakhstan's tourist infrastructure.
The sectional session was attended by faculty members of the department and representatives of Alikhan Bokeikhan University (Semey), which underscored the inter-university nature of the event.
Based on the results of the meeting, the best presentations and most active participants were identified.

Based on the outcomes of the section's work, recommendations were developed for the advancement of Kazakhstan's tourism industry, including the enhancement of digital technologies, the development of ethno- and gastronomic tourism, and the improvement of safety standards and regional infrastructure.
