A Guest from the USA at Esil University

ESIL University hosted a meeting between first-year students and Kelly William, an English language instructor and citizen of the United States. The event was organised by the English language section of the SGD Department and was conducted entirely in English, enabling students to improve their listening skills.

Kelly spoke about the education system in the United States and shared her experience of living and teaching in Spain, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Students actively asked questions, particularly about studying in America. An interesting detail was that the guest's husband also teaches English in Astana.

Kelly brought with her attributes of American sport — an American football and baseball gloves, which added vibrancy to the meeting and offered a fresh perspective on elements of American culture.
