As part of fostering a culture of academic integrity at Esil University, class mentors of the 2nd and 4th years of the "Computer Engineering and Software" and "Information Systems" educational programmes — Kenebayeva D.B. and Abdibекova L.M. — conducted a joint mentoring session for students of groups B-VTPO-24/1, B-VTPO-22/1, and IS-22/1.
During the event, participants discussed the significance of academic integrity as the foremost principle of responsible and conscientious student conduct in completing written assignments, conducting research, and engaging with faculty.
The academic advisor noted that Esil University maintains a regulatory document — the "Rules of Academic Integrity for Students and Staff" — developed in accordance with the university's development strategy. It governs the fundamental principles of academic ethics, the rights and responsibilities of students, and the procedures for applying measures in the event of violations.
The primary objective of the meeting was to cultivate among students a conscious attitude towards integrity, trust, and responsibility in the educational process, as well as to strengthen the culture of academic ethics within the university.
