Republican Inter-University Electronic Library (RIEL)

brings together the full-text information resources of university libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Republican Interuniversity Electronic Library provides free and broad access to the electronic libraries of Kazakhstan's universities, offering the full texts of textbooks, study guides, scientific and methodological materials, and published articles by faculty members, in compliance with copyright.

National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a modern information institution whose doors are open to all who choose the Book and Reading. Readers have access to a whole range of information and service offerings: an electronic catalog, access to the Internet and remote databases, a virtual reference service, electronic document delivery, and rich collections of books, newspapers, journals, and multimedia publications. The collection of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan numbers more than one and a half million storage units.

Kazakhstan National Electronic Library

All electronic copies of books and other documents are posted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 10, 1996 No. 6-I "On Copyright and Related Rights" and are available for reading without registration on the portal. Electronic library services: remote library registration, electronic booking of books for reading rooms, electronic delivery of documents, book renewal, search through the library's Electronic Catalog, downloading a list of found literature, the Virtual Reference "Ask a Librarian".

National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise JSC

Astana Branch of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library

Building a reference and information collection taking into account the economic development of Akmola Region and the city of Astana. LAN Publishing House Electronic Library System

a resource that provides online access to scientific journals and full-text collections of books from various publishers. You can work with the resource from the institution's network without prior registration, or from anywhere in the world with access to the Internet, having first registered your personal account while inside the institution's network. The electronic library system presented is a resource that includes both electronic versions of books from the Lan publishing house and other leading publishers of educational literature, as well as electronic versions of periodicals on the natural, technical, and humanities sciences.

The information resources of Web of Knowledge (Kazakhstani national license) include interdisciplinary and highly specialized databases: Web of Science, Conference Proceedings Citation Index, BIOSIS, Journal Citation Reports Thomson Reuters, which serves as a leading international search and evaluation tool across diverse natural science, social science, and humanities disciplines.

The full-text electronic resource of the SpringerLink database (Kazakhstan national license) includes, but is not limited to, the following products: e-books, book series, electronic reference works, journals, online journal archives, online book archives, collections of online archives, SpringerProtocols, SpringerMaterials, SpringerImages, Zentralblatt MATH, and other materials contained on the websites covering architecture and design, business and economics, computer science, physics, mathematics and statistics, the humanities, social sciences, and law.

ScienceDirect (Netherlands)

A database developed to meet the needs of scientific, educational, commercial, and governmental organizations in searching for information at a multidisciplinary level, the ScienceDirect platform provides comprehensive coverage of literature from all fields of science, offering access to more than 2,500 journal titles and over 20,000 books from the Elsevier publishing collection, as well as a vast number of journals published by prestigious scientific societies.

"Scopus" (SciVerse Scopus) (Netherlands)

A bibliographic and abstract database and a tool for tracking the citation of articles published in scientific publications. It indexes 18,000 titles of scientific publications in the technical, medical, and humanities sciences from 5,000 publishers. The database indexes scientific journals, conference proceedings, and serial book publications. The developer and owner of Scopus is the publishing corporation Elsevier. The database is available on a subscription basis through a web interface. The search engine is integrated with the Scirus search system for searching web pages and with a patent database.

Elsevier

one of the four largest publishing houses in the world, which annually publishes about a quarter of all articles from the scientific journals published worldwide. Founded in 1880 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), it has branches in the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, and other countries. It owes its name to the old Elzevir publishing house, which closed in the 1710s, although they are not directly related. Elsevier publishes more than 2,000 scientific journals containing about 250,000 articles per year. The publisher owns such well-known journals as The Lancet and Cell, books from the Gray's Anatomy series, the ScienceDirect web portal, and the Trends and Current Opinion series. The company maintains the Scopus database of scientific periodicals and citations. The publisher's archives contain about 7 million publications. Elsevier provides access to archives of scientific articles to approximately 4,500 organizations and universities from 180 countries worldwide. Subscribers to ELSEVIER's products include research centers around the world (universities, libraries, ministries, and agencies), as well as private corporations in Europe, America, and Asia. More than 30 million scientists, students, and specialists in various fields access the publisher's information. More than 240 million article downloads are made per year.
