The Academic Library Today:

• this is information support for the educational process in line with the areas of the university’s teaching and research work;
• this is support for the educational process, where free access to information plays a key role as a means of introducing the user to values of national and global significance;
• this is a fundamental library with a collection of textbooks, study guides, monographs, educational-methodological and reference editions in Kazakh, Russian, and foreign languages within the university’s profile;

- this is an information center with access: to electronic resources created on the basis of its own collections (CD, DVD discs), digitized books in ‘.pdf’ files; to Internet information resources, websites, a full-text database, and the Electronic Library.
