Program objectiveTraining managers with up-to-date business knowledge and skills who can manage processes and human capital to successfully lead Kazakhstani and international organizations.

Academic workloadDuration of study: 2 years. 120 credits in total, including 70 credits of theoretical instruction. Languages of instruction: Russian, English.

Degree awarded7M041 — Master of Business Administration.

Requirements for master's studentsAt least 2 years of work experience (the admissions committee may consider exceptional candidates with 1+ year of experience). A detailed CV describing your education and work experience is required.

Program objectiveTraining highly qualified professionals who integrate business knowledge and crisis management skills for strategic decision-making.

Academic workloadDuration of study: 1 year. 60 credits in total, including 30 credits of theoretical instruction. Languages of instruction: Russian, English.

Degree awarded7M041 — Master of Business Administration.

MissionTraining highly qualified managers — effective and socially responsible leaders of society.

Program objectiveTraining senior executives capable of generating and implementing business ideas, management decisions, and company strategy.

Academic workloadDuration of study: 3 years. 180 credits in total: theoretical instruction — 30, final assessment — 12, research internship — 28, research work — 115 credits. Languages of instruction: Russian, English.

Requirements for doctoral studentsMaster's / MBA / Candidate of Sciences degree, 5 years of experience, including 2 in a managerial position.

About the business school

The Esil Business School was founded in 2013 at Esil University (Narxoz, 1999–2022) and holds licences for MBA, EMBA and DBA programmes. All of its programmes are approved and listed in the Register of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The school's core principle is education of verified quality with measurable progress in professional and personal development. Progress is assessed through a feedback loop between the participant, the trainer and a personal supervisor.

The diploma is a state-recognised document; programme content is reviewed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

Career mentor

An adviser helps you choose a programme based on your goals and experience. At the start of your studies an experienced HR specialist helps map out a career or business strategy and points out which skills and certificates will help along the way. Throughout the programme you meet senior executives and entrepreneurs who share their management experience.

CMI international certification

We offer the CMI qualification of the Chartered Management Institute (United Kingdom). The school prepares participants for assessment, helps with the application and supports them through the qualification review.

CMI is an international certification body for management professionals, recognised by Royal Charter in the United Kingdom and founded in England in 1947.

Medgat Olzhayev. Over 15 years in government, private and international organisations working in analytics and market research, consulting and business development. Has worked in the USA, UAE, Türkiye and Kazakhstan.

Samat Panov. Director of Marketing Partners LLP, MBA, alumnus of the Muskie Program (USA), co-founder of the first Toastmasters club in Kazakhstan and Central Asia and of the Synergy leadership school.

Gulmira Mukanova. HR director of the Novopack group, Kazakhstan's largest flexible-packaging manufacturer. Over five years leading the HR function at strategic level. Facilitator, Erickson Coaching International coach, Adizes Institute team integrator, kaizen trainer.

Askar Utepkaliyev. Business trainer, founder of the Business Art training centre, speaker for the MayBoost and Bestpapa.kz projects.
