Faculty of Applied Sciences

The Faculty of Applied Sciences was established by Rector's Order No. 01-030/30 of April 30, 2014, on the basis of the Faculty of Foundation Studies (Dean — Amina Akzatovna Mukhambetova) and the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Dean — Anastassiya Valeryevna Mogilnaya). Since 2022, the faculty has been headed by PhD, Associate Professor Aigul Aitmagambetovna Mukhamedzhanova. The faculty works purposefully toward its strategic goals and trains specialists in the educational programs most in demand on the labor market.

The Social Work program team took 2nd place at the Republican Student Subject Olympiad (2023–2024 academic year). Supervisor — R.I. Burganova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

B.E. Seidakhmetov (group IS-21/1), December 2023 — third-degree diploma at the Republican Subject Olympiad in the field 6B06 "Information and Communication Technologies", M. Kozybayev NKU, Petropavlovsk.

2nd place — international STA projects

Students of the Information Systems and Technologies Department are prize winners of the International STA Projects Competition with the topic "Development of a Digital Illumination Module on the Arduino-Uno Platform" (physics and mathematics) and the International "Digital Transformation" Competition with the topic "Nanotechnology and Its Impact on Human Life" ("Creative Research" nomination, technical sciences). 2nd place — Alisher Mirakhmedov, Information Technologies and Data Protection program, 4th year (class of 2024).
