Career and academic path

1974
Defended his candidate dissertation at the Almaty Institute of National Economy.
1989
Defended his doctoral dissertation in Latvia (Riga).
1990
Awarded the academic title of professor.
1998
Academician of the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
2004
Full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2008
Full member (academician) of the International Academy of Economic and Social Sciences (Rome).
2008–2010
Chair of the doctoral dissertation defence council at KazUEFIT.
2012–2014
Head of two grant research projects funded from the national budget.
