Department of Management

The Department of Management is one of the leading departments of the university, providing training for bachelor's students in the educational programs (EP) 6B04101 "Management," 6В04102 "State and Local Administration," EP 6В04112 "HR Management," for master's students in EP 7М04106, 7М04105 "Management," 7М04104, 7М04103 "State and Local Administration" in the specialized and scientific-pedagogical tracks, as well as for doctoral students in EP 8D04104 "Management" and EP 8D04106 "State and Local Administration."

The main goal of the department is to train highly qualified specialists in the fields of management and public administration who possess innovative knowledge and professional competencies intended to ensure the high competitiveness of the country. 

The department offers the opportunity to obtain a European Diploma Supplement and a double degree at EU Business School (Switzerland) and Kangnam University (South Korea).

High percentage of graduate employment (88% bachelor's, 100% master's).

The Department of Management takes an active part in implementing international student exchange programs with the following universities:

The head of the department is Baigireyeva Zhanar Zamashkyzy, PhD. 

The Department of Management employs highly qualified teachers with extensive experience working both in enterprises and government services and within the higher education system: 6 doctors of science, 6 candidates of science, 4 PhD doctors, and 2 masters of science. There are active branches of the department at the Public Foundation "EurasianExpertCouncib," LLP "Q-Promo," and the Scientific and Methodological Center "ZIAT."

In various years the title "Best University Teacher" was awarded to faculty members of the department - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Zhumanova B.K.; Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Turekulova D.M.; Candidate of Economic Sciences Mukhambetova L.K.; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Orazbayev K.N. 

In the 2020-2021 academic year, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Turekulova D.M. became the winner of the national competition "BILIMNIN SALTANAT QURUY," organized by the National Research Center "BILIM-ORKENIET," and received the award "Honorary Professor of Kazakhstan." The National Research Center "BILIM-ORKENIET" also conferred the title "Uzdik Gylym Kandidaty" on Candidate of Economic Sciences Mukhambetova L.K. and Candidate of Economic Sciences Uazhanov M.U.

The department's faculty members carry out active teaching and methodological work, applying innovative teaching methods; they conduct academic work as well as research work, take part in international scientific and practical conferences, and publish scientific articles in the University Bulletin, articles with an impact factor, articles in Thomson Reuters and in rated journals of Kazakhstan; they participate in scientific projects, programs, and expert reviews on topical areas funded by ministries and other government agencies, international foundations, and organizations.
