The Department of Law offers training in the following educational programs:

6B04201 — ‘Customs Affairs’ with the award of the academic degree ‘Bachelor of Law’ in the educational program ‘Customs Affairs’;

6B04202 — ‘Business Law’ with the award of the academic degree ‘Bachelor of Law’ in the educational program ‘Business Law’;

6B04203 — ‘Legal Support of Economic Security’ with the award of the academic degree ‘Bachelor of Law’ in the educational program ‘Legal Support of Economic Security’;

6B04204 — ‘Jurisprudence’ with the award of the academic degree ‘Bachelor of Law’ in the educational program ‘Jurisprudence’;

Educational Program:6B04201 — ‘Customs Affairs’

Program goal: The goal of the ‘Customs Affairs’ educational program is to train qualified specialists with knowledge, abilities, and skills in identifying, examining, and detecting the falsification of goods for customs purposes.

Uniqueness of the educational program:

• A highly qualified faculty with practical work experience in foreign economic companies, customs and financial organizations;
• — The opportunity to receive a double degree with foreign universities (European University Business School, Spain; Kangnam University, South Korea);
• The only program in Astana;
• The opportunity to receive a state grant for tuition;
• A practice-oriented educational program developed taking into account the recommendations of the leadership of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Educational Program: 6B04202 — ‘Business Law’

Objective of the EP: Training qualified lawyers who master modern ways and methods of legal support for the activities of business entities in the digital economy, with the knowledge, competencies, and skills to address a wide range of issues related to business processes.

• A highly qualified faculty with practical work experience in law enforcement agencies, in private law firms, in the notary chamber, and in the bar association;
• The opportunity to receive a double degree with foreign universities (European University Business School, Spain; Kangnam University, South Korea);
• The only program in Astana;

• Developed with input from staff of judicial and law enforcement bodies, law firms, the notary chamber, and the bar association.

Educational Program: 6B04203 — ‘Legal Support of Economic Security’

Objective of the educational program:training highly qualified specialists able to assist in protecting and ensuring the guarantee of the lawful rights and interests of the individual, society, and the state while ensuring economic security, preventing, detecting, suppressing, solving, and investigating criminal offenses in the sphere of economic activity.

Educational Program: 6B04204 — ‘Jurisprudence’

The mission of the educational program 6B04204 ‘Jurisprudence’ is to train competitive lawyers in various fields of law.

Objective of the educational program:Training competitive specialists with high moral and ethical qualities, capable of independent thinking, with fundamental knowledge, innovative approaches, and research skills for professional-practical activity in the field of law.
