Unified National Testing (UNT)
Unified National Testing (UNT) is one of the entrance examinations for admission to higher and (or) postgraduate education institutions. It is held as a test at designated UNT testing centers.

Who takes the UNT
Graduates of grades 11 (12)Students in the final 11th (12th) grade of secondary education institutions — for optional fee-based university admission.
Current-year graduatesCurrent-year graduates of secondary education institutions — eligible to compete for a grant funded by the national or local budget, or to enroll on a fee-paying basis.
Graduates of previous years and TVEGraduates of previous years and of technical and vocational or post-secondary education — eligible to compete for a grant or enroll on a fee-paying basis.
Shortened study durationGraduates of technical and vocational or post-secondary education applying to accelerated higher-education programs — may optionally compete for a grant.
International exchange and international alumniGraduates who studied abroad through international school-exchange programs, as well as ethnic Kazakhs who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and graduated from institutions abroad — for a grant or fee-paying enrollment.
Retake for Fee-Based AdmissionFull-time fee-paying enrollees who did not reach the threshold score, have non-matching combinations of profile subjects, or annulled results — for subsequent fee-based enrollment within the calendar year.
Transfer to Creative ProgramsUniversity students enrolled in program groups requiring creative training who wish to transfer to other program groups.
