Gabit Zhumabaevich Shuytenov was born on July 5, 1973 in Uralsk, West Kazakhstan Region. After graduating from secondary school in 1990, he entered the physics and mathematics faculty of the Aktobe Pedagogical Institute, specializing in ‘Physics and Computer Science’. After completing his studies with honors, he was appointed a lecturer of the ‘Computer Science and Computer Engineering’ Department of K. Zhubanov Aktobe State University. His continuous experience in the higher education system began in 1995, in which Shuytenov G.Zh. progressed from lecturer and senior lecturer of the ‘CSCE’ and ‘Information Systems’ departments to the position of director of the distance learning technology center and the positions of dean of the correspondence faculty and the e-learning faculty. From 2016 to the present, he worked as dean of the distance learning faculty. His main functions were managing and monitoring the educational process, introducing new information and distance learning technologies, installing and implementing online class systems (based on Linux), independently developing an internal electronic document management and accounting system (YII 2 framework), deploying cloud data storage systems, optimizing and automating administrative and educational processes, and conducting training seminars and webinars for faculty. He is the author of more than 45 publications on the topic of his candidate’s dissertation, on the informatization of education, the implementation of innovative digital technologies, and ensuring the reliability and security of information systems. 2 articles in journals of the USA and the UK (47th percentile), 5 KOKSNVO articles, 2 study guides, Hirsch Index — 2. He was an expert of the Erasmus+ project ‘A program of professional bachelor’s and professional master’s studies for the development, administration, management, and protection of computer systems and networks at enterprises of Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam — LMPI 2017-2020’. Awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan in 2018.
