A youth job fair was held at Esil University, jointly organised with the State Municipal Enterprise "Youth Resource Centre 'Astana Zhastary'" and the State Municipal Enterprise "Labour Mobility Centre" of the Akimat of Astana.
The event brought together more than 50 employers from various sectors, including government agencies, second-tier banks, financial institutions, museums, consulting, and appraisal companies.
The primary objective of the career fair was to facilitate the employment of students and graduates, as well as to create conditions for direct dialogue between job seekers and employers. Event participants were able to review current vacancies, attend interviews, and receive career development consultations.
Rector of Esil University, Doctor of Economic Sciences Ayapbergen Taubayev delivered a welcoming address. He emphasized the significance of such initiatives, which enable young specialists to take confident steps towards professional fulfilment.
Speeches were also delivered by representatives of government bodies: Nazgul Akhmetzhanova — Head of the Civil Service Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Astana; Erlan Zhusipov — Deputy Head of the Department of Employment and Social Protection; and Kazbek Altayev — Deputy Director of the Labour Mobility Centre. They spoke about current employment opportunities and programmes for youth.
The job fair at Esil University served as an important platform for productive interaction between business, government agencies, and the youth of the capital.
