From November 25 to 28, 2025 A monitoring group of the League of Academic Integrity was in operation at Esil University. The visit became a significant event for the university and another step in the development of a culture of academic integrity and educational quality.
The work of the experts commenced with a meeting with the Rector of the University, Ayapbergen Aldanayevich Taubayev, and the Vice-Rectors. The administration presented the university's development strategy, digital solutions in the educational process, approaches to ensuring transparency in assessment, and mechanisms for preventing academic violations.
Over the course of three days, experts conducted an intensive programme of meetings and discussions with administrative and managerial personnel, heads of departments, directors of educational programmes, and heads of structural subdivisions. A separate training seminar was devoted to practical tools for implementing academic integrity standards.

The monitoring group also met with students, graduates, and employers, which allowed for a multifaceted assessment of the university's performance. As part of the consultative session, a team of academic integrity ambassadors was formed, which developed a preliminary action plan for the coming year.
The experts familiarised themselves with the university's infrastructure, including the academic library, laboratories, the Centre for Information Technologies, the artificial intelligence laboratory, research centres, and student spaces.
At the concluding meeting with university leadership following the visit, preliminary monitoring results and recommendations for the further development of institutional academic integrity policy were presented.
Esil University continues to consistently strengthen the principles of openness, transparency, and academic integrity, viewing them as the foundation of the university's sustainable development and competitiveness.
