The Department of Finance organised two round tables as part of the celebration of ESIL UNIVERSITY's 25th anniversary.
The First Round Table dedicated to the memory of the First Rector, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Seitkasimov G.S., on the theme « Current Issues of the Monetary and Credit System in Modern Conditions », took place with the participation of Faculty members of the Department of Finance, relatives of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor G.S. Seytkasimov, invited scholars from Orenburg State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, veterans of the banking system, representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Management of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan, JSC Eurasian Bank, JSC First Heartland Jýsan Bank, as well as students, master's degree candidates, and doctoral candidates attended the event. The objective of the round table is to discuss and identify effective solutions to challenges in monetary policy under current conditions.

(212), С приветственным словом и поздравлениями выступил д.э.н., профессор, ректор ESIL UNIVERSITY Таубаев А.А. Проведена презентация учебника «Қазақстан Республикасы Ұлттық Банкінің қызметін ұйымдастыру».
The second round table on the topic « "Trends and Innovations in the Field of Financial Relations" was conducted with the participation of teaching staff of the "Finance" Department, relatives of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nurumov A.A., invited scholars, representatives of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of State Revenue for the Baikonur District of Astana, the Legal Entity of Public Association "Association of Agro-Insurance", the Association of Business Trainers of Kazakhstan, as well as students, master's students, and doctoral students. The objective of the round table was to form a consolidated position in addressing problems of innovation development in the field of financial relations.
As part of the round table, the solemn opening of the "FinTechLab" laboratory named after Professor Nurumov A.A. (Room 306) took place.
The opening address to the participants of the round table was delivered by the Rector of Esil University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Taubayev A.A.
A presentation of the textbook Taxes and Taxation in the English language was delivered by Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Finance Department of L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University — Nurumova A.A.
In their presentations, the speakers highlighted the current issues of monetary regulation and development of the financial sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of digitalization of the economy. Following the work of the round tables, decisions were adopted and resolutions were drawn up. The objectives of the round tables were achieved.
Awards and commemorative gifts were presented to the honorary guests and round table participants.
