На базе Евразийского национального университета имени Л. Н. Гумилёва состоялся II этап ХVІІІ Республиканской студенческой предметной олимпиады по образовательным программам «Туризм» среди высших учебных заведений Республики Казахстан.
The olympiad was aimed at improving the quality of training for specialists in the tourism industry, developing students' creative potential, and stimulating their research activities. The event was attended by teams from leading universities of the country, who demonstrated a high level of knowledge, professional competencies, and practical skills.
Students of the "Tourism" educational programme at Esil University worthily represented the university and, based on the results of all stages, achieved an honourable 3rd Place among 20 university teams from Kazakhstan. The Olympiad comprised several stages, including the defence of project works on the theme of sustainable innovations in urban tourism in Kazakhstan, as well as competitions in tourist all-round events (hiking technique). Participants demonstrated not only a high level of theoretical preparation but also practical skills, teamwork, and a creative approach to solving professional tasks.
Подготовка команды осуществлялась под руководством ассоциированного профессора, PhD, заведующего кафедрой «Социальная работа и туризм» Садыкова Ж.А. и магистра, старшего преподавателя кафедры «Социальная работа и туризм» Амангелді Е.М., чья профессиональная поддержка и наставничество сыграли важную роль в достижении высокого результата.
