A guest lecture on the topic "Innovations in Banking Activities" was held at the branch of Freedom Finance Bank Kazakhstan JSC for 4th-year students of the "Finance" specialisation.
Bank specialists were invited as lecturers — Aliyev Z.A., Head of the Corporate Client Department of the Astana branch, and Rgybayeva D.Zh., Chief Specialist of the Acquiring Department.
In their address, bank specialists provided students with a detailed overview of the bank's current state, the directions of its banking business distinguishing it from other second-tier banks in Kazakhstan. Banking products implemented using innovative technologies in digital format were examined.
Using live practical material, the lecture demonstrated how effective the implementation of digital service formats is for banks. The subject matter was linked to the material studied by fourth-year students in the discipline "Financial Analysis of Banks." The lecture generated keen interest among attendees; questions were posed and received qualified responses and substantiated explanations.
The data, opinions, and information obtained are not only of an educational nature but also of a professional character. The content of the course is aimed at developing skills in analysing and evaluating banking activity, which will contribute to raising the level of practice-oriented training for future specialists.
