A curatorial hour on the topic "Do You Know Your Constitutional Rights?" was conducted by lecturer of the Department of Economics and Marketing, A.A. Nauryzbaeva, with second-year groups B DM 24/1 and B DM 25/23.
Students familiarized themselves with the key areas: - fundamental rights and freedoms of a person and citizen; - duties of citizens; - principles of equality before the law; - mechanisms for the protection of rights (appeals to government bodies, court, ombudsman); - the role of the Constitution in the life of society and the state.
The following issues were discussed during the tutorial hour: - which rights are most important for youth; - how to protect one's rights in everyday life; - citizens' responsibility for compliance with the law; — examples of rights violations and ways to resolve them; - the significance of legal literacy for future professional activities.
Special attention was devoted to cultivating a legal culture, fostering a sense of youth responsibility, promoting conscious civic behavior, and developing an understanding of the interrelationship between rights and obligations. The events were held in the format of a live dialogue, which enabled learners to actively engage in the discussion of current issues and to appreciate the role of youth in the development of civil society, the strengthening of the rule of law, and the formation of a responsible social stance.
