From August 7 to 9, the Rector of Esil University, Professor Ayapbergen Taubayev, conducted a working visit to Kuala Lumpur, where he visited the partner institution — Open University Malaysia.
The visit was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Malaysian university, which has been providing access to higher education using modern online technologies for more than two decades.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the further development of cooperation. Among the priority areas are the expansion of academic mobility, the launch of a dual-degree programme, joint scientific research, and the integration of digital technologies into the educational process.
Previously, within the framework of the partnership, an internship for Esil University MBA students in Malaysia had already been implemented.
