On 6 December 2024, an Extended Sectional Session was held at Esil University as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the theme "Economic Science and Governance: New Challenges and the Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan under Conditions of Global Change," dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Turekuova Dametkен Medikhanovna.
The work of the conference section comprised six areas. More than 250 scholarly articles and theses were submitted for participation in the section from various domestic and foreign universities.
At the expanded sectional session, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Alina G.B. and Head of the Department of Management Baigireyeva Zh.Z. delivered welcoming remarks. The session was moderated by Yesymkhanova Z.K.
The sectional session was actively attended by Head of the Finance Department Lukpanova Zh.O., Head of the Department of Economics and Marketing Zambinova G.K., lecturers Ryumkin S.V., Mukhambetova L.K., Baidalinova A.S., Sakenkyzы A., and others.
The section's speakers included both scholars from Kazakhstan and doctoral and master's students from various universities.

The section meeting was conducted at a high scientific-practical level and in a discussion format. Section participants asked speakers interesting questions, to which they received comprehensive and complete answers.
Based on the results of the sectional session, a resolution on the presented scientific papers was formulated and submitted for recommendation to the Plenary Session of the conference.
