A Professor from Slovakia Spoke About the Philosophy of Applying IT in Education

The university hosted a guest lecture by a foreign specialist on the topic "Philosophical Issues of the Application of Modern IT in the Educational Process". The speaker was Yaroslav Kultan, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia).

During the lecture, Professor Kultan noted that modern information technologies not only simplify the educational process but also shape a new philosophy of knowledge perception. In his view, digitalization requires a rethinking of the human role in learning, wherein technologies become intellectual partners rather than merely auxiliary tools.

Special emphasis was placed on matters of ethics and responsibility in the use of artificial intelligence. The speaker stressed that automation should promote personal development and not replace the critical thinking of students.

The meeting took place in a substantive and open atmosphere, generating great interest among the participants. Professor Kultan's lecture became a significant event that strengthened international cooperation and broadened the academic horizons of the university.
