Faculty of the Information Systems Department Took Part in a Seminar on Developing Double Degree Programs

A seminar on the topic "Development of a Double-Degree Educational Programme" was held at ESIL University, organised within the framework of the British Council's global partnership development programme. Faculty members of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies participated and advanced their professional qualifications: Mukhiyadin A.U., Aziyeva G.T., Baidauletova A.T., Seksembayeva M.A., Yesentemirova A.K., Kenebayeva D.B., Akmoldina A.I.

The objective of the seminar was to foster a shared understanding of the principles of transnational education, as well as to provide instruction in developing dual-degree educational programs and to acquaint participants with the regulatory documents governing the implementation of partnership agreements with foreign universities.

During the seminar, participants discussed the features of double degree programmes, their importance for universities and students, as well as issues of selecting foreign partners, developing curricula, and organizing academic mobility. The event was conducted by Baglan Zharlgasova, Head of the Department of Educational Process Planning and Monitoring, and Elmira Zadanova, Head of the Department of International Cooperation.

At the end of the seminar, our faculty members received certificates confirming their participation in the educational program.
