A Demonstration of the Kazakh National Rite ‘Syrga Salu’ Marking the Nauryz Holiday

In honor of the Nauryz holiday, 1st-year students of the 'Economics 25/1' specialty in the Kazakh-language group, under the guidance of curator Amisheva Z.M. of the Department of Economics and Marketing, organized and presented a stage performance of one of the Kazakh national rituals — 'Syrga salu.'

During the event, students demonstrated the main stages of the "Syrga salu" ritual. The arrival of the groom's party at the bride's home, the introduction and negotiations between the matchmakers, the ritual of placing earrings, and the blessing of the elders were all presented. Participants approached their roles with great responsibility and succeeded in conveying the content of the ritual in an accessible and engaging manner for the audience.
