В Esil University прошёл Международный круглый стол «Банковская система Республики Казахстан: новые механизмы регулирования и цифровая трансформация», посвящённый 55-летию доктора экономических наук, профессора, академика КазНАЕН Серика Биханулы Мақыша.
The event brought together representatives of the academic community, foreign and domestic universities, government bodies, and the banking sector. The Rector of Esil University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Ayapbergen Aldanayevich Taubayev, delivered a welcoming address, noting the jubilarian's contribution to the development of financial science.
As part of the round table, a new book entitled "The Financial System of the Republic of Kazakhstan," prepared by leading scholars and practitioners, was presented. Honorary guests — representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the academic community — participated in the presentation.
Congratulations to the jubilarian were sent by universities and scientific organizations of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, emphasizing his academic authority and contribution to the training of personnel for the financial and banking sector.
Speakers presented reports on topical issues in the banking sector: digital finance, the development of the digital tenge, integration processes within the EAEU, fintech innovations, financial literacy, Islamic banking, and the impact of the new Tax Code.
The discussion was attended by representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, commercial banks, leading universities, and research centres.
The round table served as a scientific platform for the exchange of research findings, the strengthening of international cooperation, and the development of new directions in scientific research in the fields of banking and financial policy.
