Faculty members and staff of Esil University who wish to participate in the competition for the annual "Best Researcher" award for 2024 are invited to review the requirements:
In accordance with Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Science and Technological Policy," for the purpose of recognizing scientists and research personnel of scientific organizations and institutions of higher and/or postgraduate education who have contributed to the development of science and technology, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces Competition for the annual award "Best Research Scholar".
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted through the Ministry's information system https://scicontest2024.iac.kz in Electronic Format Within 20 calendar days from the date of publication of the competition announcement.
The scientific achievements of the Prize nominee shall be evaluated according to the following indicators:
1) possession of an academic degree recognized in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) possession of an academic title conferred by an authorized body;
3) supervision of scientific projects and programmes in the chosen field of research;
4) the availability and quality of scientific results in the chosen research area (articles or reviews in peer-reviewed journals, domestic and foreign monographs, chapters in monographs, patents, and other works);
5) the presence of articles in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals in the chosen field of research, co-authored with leading foreign scholars;
6) teaching one or more disciplines at a higher educational institution over the past year;
7) training of personnel awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor in the field;
8) confirmed results of scientific and scientific-technical activities related to production implementation;
9) public activities aimed at enhancing the quality, effectiveness, and impact of scientific research.
