Esil University hosted a round table on the topic "Careers in State Statistical Authorities." The event was attended by students of groups B-St-25/1 R, B-St-25/1 K, B-St-24/1 R, and B-St-24/1 K. The moderator of the meeting was Kinzhagulova Saule, Senior Head of the Department for Control over Respondents and Administrative Sources.
During the round table, key issues related to professional development within the state statistics system were examined. Participants discussed the requirements for industry specialists, the necessary competencies, and the specifics of building a career trajectory.
The moderator provided a detailed account of the structure of state statistical bodies, the specifics of working with respondents and administrative data, as well as the importance of quality control of statistical information.
Particular attention was paid to employment opportunities for young professionals, internship opportunities, and career development prospects. Students became acquainted with the practical aspects of the work, including participation in statistical observations, data processing and analysis, as well as interaction with governmental and private organisations.
In an open dialogue format, participants were able to ask questions of interest, discuss real-world case studies, and receive practical recommendations for the development of professional skills.
