A Guest Lecture on the Digitalization of Criminal Proceedings at Esil University

On the initiative of the Head of the "Law" Department at Esil University, Askar Kaliyev, a guest lecture was organized for second-year students majoring in "Law."

The lecture was delivered by Tulebay Mukushov, Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, one of the most pressing contemporary issues was discussed — the "Electronic Criminal Case" being implemented under the state programme "Digital Kazakhstan."

The speaker elaborated on the advantages of introducing the electronic format: efficiency, transparency, savings in time, human resources, and finances, as well as the strict observance of the rights and interests of participants in criminal proceedings.

Students demonstrated active engagement by asking questions and receiving clarifications on topics of interest. Faculty members of the Department of Law also participated in the event.
