A Guest Lecture by Freedom Broker Specialists at the Department of Finance

The Department of Finance organised a guest lecture as part of the Department Week, inviting specialists from Freedom Broker — Senior Client Managers Kairat Altayevich Zhilkibayev and Alexander Alexandrovich Yaryshev.

A lecture on the topic "Introduction to Options" was delivered for third-year students of the Finance programme. During the lecture, specialists described the fundamentals of stock market operation and the activities of Freedom Broker in the Kazakhstani market. The advantages of investing in securities compared with other types of investment market instruments were demonstrated. The lecturer outlined the rules for working with options and provided specific examples for selecting the most attractive market instruments.

The students demonstrated keen interest in the lecture and actively posed questions to the specialists. The head of the department and faculty members participated in the discussion. The lecture materials supplemented the professional knowledge acquired by third-year students in the course "Securities Market," particularly in terms of a practice-oriented approach to education.
