On 29 November 2024, a round table was held with Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Mukhtar Saltayevich Yerzhanov and the faculty of the Department of Accounting and Audit at Esil University.
The Topic Is Devoted to "The Contribution of the Scientific Works of Doctor of Economics, Professor A.A. Nurumov to the Development of Financial Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan." Issues in the field of tax accounting and auditing were also addressed. In addition, he highlighted the importance of integrating practitioners into the educational process. Inviting experts from tax authorities, auditing firms, and major enterprises, as well as conducting masterclasses and training sessions, contributes to students developing a deeper understanding of real-world professional challenges. In conclusion, Professor Yerzhanov emphasised that the development of educational programmes should be directed towards creating conditions that foster students' critical thinking skills, professional ethics, and readiness for innovation. He urged round table participants to actively share their experience and develop inter-university cooperation in the field of tax accounting and auditing.
