On the eve of the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a round table was held at Esil University with the participation of representatives from the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan, and Forte Bank.
Among the invited guests was also Galym Baynazarov, a Kazakhstani financier, banker, economist, and the first Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the title of Honorary Professor of Esil University was conferred upon Galym Baynazarov, the first Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and creator of the tenge, in recognition of his longstanding work and partnership with the university.
It is worth noting that graduates of the Department of Finance at Esil University are employed in public financial bodies: ministries, committees and agencies, departments and divisions of state revenues and treasury, national companies, branches of the National Bank, second-tier banks, credit organizations, insurance companies, and investment funds.
