A Lecture on Public Service Was Held at Esil University

As part of Career Week, the Management Department organised a meeting with Aidyn Imashev — a practitioner-lecturer and Head of the Department of Subsoil Use Management of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The topic of the lecture was "Civil Service — Serving the People."

During the presentation, the speaker elaborated on the key stages of entering public service, including the specifics of the competitive selection process, requirements for candidates, and the procedures for testing and interviews. Participants were given practical recommendations for preparing for the selection stages, and typical errors made during the employment process were also reviewed.

Particularly valuable for the attendees was the exchange of practical experience: A. Imashev shared professional knowledge and real-world cases from the field of public administration, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of work in the public sector.

The lecture was conducted in an interactive format and was accompanied by active discussion and genuine interest from students of the Management Department, who posed questions and shared their views on the prospects of public service.
