During the lecture, Bektanov B.T. described in detail career development within companies servicing the 1C Accounting software: given the widespread use of the software resource by numerous companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan, partner companies, implementation firms, and service providers are actively seeking 1C consultants, programmers, and analysts; even with a modest starting position, one can increase one's value as a specialist through training, practical experience, and certification. For example, companies offer internship programmes.
The lecturer also emphasised the necessity of proficiency in international financial reporting standards, digital analytical tools, and strategic thinking methodologies in the conduct of financial and tax accounting. The event was attended by faculty members of the PhD Department: Senior Lecturer Aitkhozina A.E., Doctor of Economics, Acting Professor Shayakhmetova K.O., PhD, Acting Associate Professor Uspambayeva M.K., and Lecturer Arkhat A.
The guest lecture provided students with an opportunity to obtain valuable knowledge and practical recommendations first-hand, as well as to pose questions on current issues regarding the application of the 1C Accounting software. Such events contribute to the strengthening of ties between the university and professional practitioners, enhancing the quality of preparation of future specialists and their adaptability in the labour market.
