Esil University held the grand opening ceremony of the Polish-Kazakh Research Centre "Sustainable Development and Innovative Economy."
In attendance at the event were the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland to Kazakhstan Michal Labenda, Consul of Poland Monika Taskarzewska-Kutkiewicz, members of the Polish parliament, representatives of the Union of Poles in Kazakhstan and Polish universities. On the Kazakhstani side, a welcoming address was delivered by Mazhilis Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Beissengaliyev.
The establishment of the Center marked an important step for the university and society. Within its framework, a Development Plan has been drawn up that defines priority areas of work, including joint scientific research, educational initiatives, and international projects.
The new Centre brings together students, faculty, and researchers, creating a platform for the exchange of experience and ideas capable of contributing to the development of a sustainable economy and the promotion of innovation. Its activities are intended to strengthen international cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland and to facilitate the formation of world-class projects.
