From January 6 to 22, 2025, an educational and methodological conference on the topic "Contemporary Trends and Innovations in Higher Education" was held at Esil University.
The conference brought together teachers, administrators, students, and all stakeholders interested in the development of the educational process, providing a platform for discussing current issues and exchanging experience.
Current trends in higher education and their impact on the educational process were discussed, including: successful practices of integrating Coursera online courses into educational programmes, the use of ChatGPT in the educational process, artificial intelligence in higher education, scholarly research in thesis work, how our thinking is connected to our practice, Procrastination vs IELTS 8.0, the methodology of brainstorming, the recognition of learning outcomes, and the procedure for the transfer of academic credits.
The academic and methodological conference provided an opportunity to share successful practices in implementing innovative technologies in the educational process. Master classes were delivered on the use of contemporary educational technologies, including: "AI School" (assessment, information retrieval, article writing, and audio transformation); updating and applying information technologies in the development of contemporary society; the development and advancement of information systems using artificial intelligence; and the analysis of current trends in information systems with the application of artificial intelligence.
Based on the results of the conference, participants received certificates of 72 hours.
