On April 8, Esil University hosted a guest lecture on the topic "Digital Tools in Statistics," organized with the participation of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan (BNS ASPR RK).
The lecturer was Akmaral Tokbergenova, Director of the Management Department of the State Enterprise of the Information and Computing Centre of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main topics covered in the lecture were: digital transformation of statistical data collection and processing; modern IT solutions applied in the Bureau of National Statistics; automation of interaction processes with respondents; electronic reporting and the statistical portal; and prospects for the development of digital services in Kazakhstan's statistics.
The event was attended by the faculty of Esil University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as well as students of the Statistics, Accounting and Audit, and other educational programmes.
The guest lecture enabled students to familiarise themselves with real-world cases of digital technology application in state statistics, broadened their understanding of modern IT tools, and highlighted their significance for analytical activities.
