Astana, 3 May 2024 — The second stage of the Republican Student Olympiad in the educational programme «World Economy» was held at Esil University. The event attracted 12 students from various cities and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including leading institutions such as Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Turan University, and Karaganda University named after Academician Ye.A. Buketov, and served as a centre of intellectual excellence and professional development.
The olympiad comprised three stages, including the presentation of video clips, testing on key disciplines, and project presentations. Participants demonstrated not only profound knowledge in the fields of world economics, international business, and foreign economic activity, but also the analytical and communicative skills necessary for addressing contemporary economic challenges.
Based on the results of the second stage of the Olympiad, the jury determined the winners in both the individual and team standings:
