As part of the Accounting and Audit Department Week, a meeting with an employer was held on the topic "Employment of Young Specialists in the Field of Accounting."
The speaker at the event was Seitkerey Nazerke, Deputy Chief Accountant of the LLP «Koktem Friends» . The meeting was organised by Senior Lecturer of the Department Aitkhozhinа Aliya Eleusizovna.
The event was attended by faculty members of the department and students of the graduating groups of the programme "Accounting and Audit" .
During the meeting, Seitkerei Nazerke provided a detailed account of the contemporary requirements for entry-level specialists in the field of accounting, the specifics of employment, and career advancement prospects in the current labour market. The lecturer paid particular attention to the practical aspects of an accountant's work, the importance of professional skills, responsibility, discipline, and the necessity of continuous professional development.
The speaker also emphasised the importance of developing in young professionals such competencies as attentiveness, proficiency in modern accounting software, knowledge of the regulatory and legal framework, and the ability to adapt to changes in the professional environment.
