On April 21, a meeting of students enrolled in the "Accounting and Audit" and "Statistics" educational programmes with stakeholder representatives took place.
The event was held within the framework of a practice-oriented approach to education and was aimed at strengthening the connection between students' theoretical preparation and the current requirements of the professional environment.
The speaker at the meeting was Dilnaz Beysserikova — an outsourcing accountant representing the company Alma Food LLP, specializing in accounting support for small and medium-sized businesses, including enterprises engaged in catering at mass events.
In her address, she shared practical experience in providing accounting services on a remote basis, covering in detail the issues of document management, tax accounting, and client interaction in the context of outsourcing. The speaker devoted particular attention to real case studies from professional practice, which enabled students to gain a better understanding of the specific nature of an accountant's work in the contemporary business environment.
The meeting also generated considerable interest among students of the "Statistics" educational programme, as the dialogue addressed topics directly related to the analysis of financial indicators, the preparation of reports, and the use of statistical data in management accounting. Students asked questions about the role of analytics in accounting support, data visualisation tools, the application of statistical methods for evaluating business effectiveness, and employment at the RSI "Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
