An educational hour was held at the university on the topic of "Principles of Humanism in the Heritage of Kazakh Enlighteners". . The educational hour was conducted by Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines (hereinafter referred to as "SHD") Urunbasarova Eleonora Adalovna and Senior Lecturer of the Department Utegenova Aliya Amantayevna. First-year students of the Statistics specialisation actively participated in this educational session.
Цели:
1) To acquaint students with the moral heritage of Kazakh enlighteners Chokan Valikhanov, Ibray Altynsarin, and Abai Kunanbayev.
2) To cultivate humanistic attitudes, respect for historical memory and national values.
Objectives:
- to reveal to students the essence of such principles of humanism as ideological purposefulness, internationalism, patriotism, optimism, and humanism;
- to demonstrate the reflection of these principles in the spiritual and moral ideals of Chokan Valikhanov, the pedagogical ethics of Ibray Altynsarin, and the moral formula of Abai Kunanbayev, "Adam bol" (Be Human).
- to create conditions for student participation in discussion;
- to foster in students the aspiration to be guided in life by the principles of humanism.
During the class, students familiarised themselves with the legacy of Kazakh enlighteners, shared their thoughts, and participated in a discussion. The event contributed to strengthening students' humanistic views.
