A guest lecture entitled "Digitalisation of State Statistics" was held at Esil University, organised with the participation of representatives of the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana, as well as the faculty of the Department of Accounting and Audit.
The event brought together second-year students of the "Statistics" and "Accounting and Audit" academic programs. Among the faculty members who participated were Bekzhanova T., Altynbekov M., Shayakhmetova K., Aitkhozina A., Uspambayeva M., and Askarova T.
The lecture addressed the key directions of the digitalisation of state statistics. The speakers elaborated on the introduction of modern information technologies, the application of methods for processing and analysing big data, as well as the use of digital tools to enhance the efficiency of public administration and the quality of statistical information.
Students were particularly interested in the practical aspects of the digital transformation of the industry. Participants actively posed questions and discussed contemporary approaches to working with data and the possibilities of applying them in their future professional activities.
