‘The Formula of a United Nation’: A Round Table on Civic Identity

At Esil University, as part of Statistics Week, a round table was held for students of the "Statistics" and "Accounting and Audit" educational programmes, dedicated to issues of civic identity and social cohesion. The event was initiated by the Head of the Department of Accounting and Audit, Toty Bekzhanova. The invited speakers were Sultan Umurgaliyev, a representative of the Municipal State Institution "MRC 'Astana Zhastaary'," and Dinmukhammed Gali, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Audit.

The theme of the roundtable is "The Formula of 'One Nation': Civil Identity in the Constitution." During the presentations, the key aspects of the formation of civil identity were elaborated upon, including the significance of constitutional values and the role of youth in strengthening social harmony and national unity.

The following members of the faculty of the Department of Accounting and Audit participated in the event: Head of the Department of Accounting and Audit Bekzhanova T.K.; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Aitkhozina L.Zh.; Master's Degree holder, Senior Lecturer Aitkhozina A.E.; PhD, Acting Professor Altynbekov M.A.; PhD, Senior Lecturer Uspambayeva M.K.; Master's Degree holder, Senior Lecturer Askarova T.M.; as well as Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Alina G.B. and Professor of the Department of Law Zhusupov A.D.

Based on the results of the round table, participants noted its high relevance and practical significance for fostering legal culture, civic responsibility, and an active civic stance among students.

The round table was held in an open dialogue format, which allowed students to ask questions of interest and discuss contemporary socio-legal processes.
