A curator's hour on the theme 'Fostering a Culture of Academic Integrity at Esil University' was held in the first-year groups of the 'Social Work' stream (B SR-25 R and B SR-25/23 R). The event took place in an in-person format under the guidance of curator Savvin Yegor Viktorovich.
The purpose of the meeting was to cultivate in students a conscious attitude towards the principles of academic integrity, to develop personal responsibility, respect for intellectual labour, and the ethical values necessary for future social sector professionals.
In the course of the discussion, it was noted that academic integrity is the foundation of quality education and professional development. Students were reminded of the importance of independent work in completing academic and research assignments, as well as of appropriate interaction with instructors and peers.
Special attention was devoted to the regulatory framework of Esil University — the document "Rules of Academic Integrity for Students and Staff," which defines the core values, rights, and obligations of students, as well as the measures of accountability for violations. In addition, issues of anti-corruption measures and typical examples of dishonest behaviour, such as plagiarism, cheating, and data falsification, were examined.
