Students Visited the Museum of the National Bank of Kazakhstan

As part of the celebration of the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, fourth-year students of the Finance educational programme, together with their group supervisor PhD, Acting Associate Professor Misnik O.V., visited the Museum of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The museum visit began with a meeting with Satvaldinova Zhamilya Kabidenovna, an employee of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who presented video materials on the new design of the national currency banknotes and their distinctive features, as well as on the new digital investment coin Gold Coin. The meeting continued with a historical overview of the emergence of the national currency and its gradual renewal.

The collectible and investment coins on display at the exhibition generated particular interest among students. Students noted the aesthetic appeal of the coins and, as future financial professionals, their attractiveness as investment instruments. The excursion proved both engaging and informative, affording students the opportunity not only to explore the history of the national currency but also to glimpse its future.
