Within the framework of World Social Work Day and the implementation of the Concept "Children of Kazakhstan 2026-2030," for students of the Social Work specialisation, by the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Work and Tourism Арыстановой З.С. A meeting was held with social workers from the Support Center for Families and Children in Difficult Life Situations of SOS Children's Villages.
Staff of the Children's Village introduced students to the main areas of work with orphans and children from at-risk families who are in difficult life situations. A volunteer club is already operating at the village's facilities, in which senior-year students of our university actively participate. They assist in organising celebrations for the children and conduct additional language courses. First-year students were invited to join the volunteer movement and participate in providing support to the residents of the Children's Village.
