The ceremonial closing of the Tourism Educational Program Week was held in the assembly hall of Esil University. The event concluded with a festive concert, the announcement of results from creative competitions and a tourism relay race, as well as the presentation of commemorative gifts to participants.
Throughout the week, faculty members and students of the Department of Social Work and Tourism actively participated in master classes, lectures, training sessions, creative competitions, and sporting events. The closing ceremony served as the culmination of all preceding activities, bringing together participants to honour the best students who had demonstrated their knowledge, talents, and sporting achievements. Particular attention was drawn to the competitions for "Best Video Reel," "Best Post," "Best Poster," and a tourism relay race involving 8 teams from years 1 through 4, in which students demonstrated creativity and an in-depth understanding of the specifics of the tourism industry.
Winners of creative competitions and the tourism relay received well-deserved awards. The university prepared commemorative gifts. Awards were presented by Sadykov Zhasulan Amangeldyevich, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social Work and Tourism, who sincerely thanked students for their active participation and creative approach.
A particularly joyous moment was the award ceremony for the winners of the tourist relay race, where student teams competed in speed, agility, and teamwork. The winners were presented not only with certificates but also with pleasant gifts, such as wireless lavalier microphones, headphones, and outdoor activity sets.
The festive concert concluded the ceremonial event; the vibrant performances by students of the Tourism educational programme created a positive atmosphere, reminding all participants that tourism is not only a professional field but also an opportunity to inspire and unite people.
